This may sound as if it's so but the pressure is the same all the time in any working hydraulic clutch system, that of releasing the clutch pressure plate springs.
Either of the hydraulic cylinders may indeed go bad in future. You could say that at any time about any part of any system. The older the system, the more likely it is that something will fail.
What happened could be the hose, could be either of the cylinders. Or just could be a bleeder screw backed off its seat.
Anyway, fixing one part of a hydraulic system doesn't put more pressure on any other part and I had to jump in to say so.
I know you mean to be helpful, Rob, and you are, by warning mr. Hakalski that more trouble might happen, it's just what the cause of that trouble would be that I'm jumping in to dispute.
