The clay exhaust repair claimed to be good for everything from tailpipes to manifolds. Claims that high heat only makes it stronger up to 2400 degrees. Maybe I installed it wrong, but yesterday after the install, it lasted all morning on the way to work. Then on the way home, there was a lot of stop and go traffic. By the time I got home it had cracked and blown out. I touched it with a flathead and it just crumbled away like dust. I tried it again this morning and it made it to work again. We'll see if it makes it home. I don't have my hopes up. I'm thinking about putting in red hi temp silicone again with some kind of metal strip to see if that holds next.
I really don't want to do a head swap. I'm pretty sure all of the studs are going to break. The broken one still had a little thread left, so I just screwed it back in and it held. Hope it stays that way.
