some progress notes; maybe remove the entire carpet? Making good progress getting the seats out and the metal plates around the doors that hold down the carpet. Now I'm thinking it might be better to just remove the carpet all together before having the floors repaired, not just peeling it back. Maybe it would be a good opportunity to redye the carpet too.
Is it difficult to remove the center vertical and floor consoles? I've been searching the forum and for the floor console it looks like there are two bolts in the the back underneath the ash tray. But you have to also pry out the shifter rubber boot? It seems like it is really tight in there? Is there a technique to pull it out and then get it back in??
Any tricks for the vertical center console? I see when you remove the rubber bellows piece there are two screws and there are also the screws on the side. Is that pretty much it?
Thanks,
-ryan
