Hey that's great just went through the same thing last year mine was a real pain. I had to charge the system with the car off. There was a place on Townsend's website that he discussed about the problem that I ran into and told me how to get through it so thank goodness for this info. I did follow his instructions on the amount of fluid I don't know that I would go any more than that if you're getting temperatures down to 38° at idle that's pretty decent. I actually had a brand new Seiko compressor that a shop had packed away and had never been installed I'm not sure if that was the reason why I had such a hard time getting it to charge but we eventually got it and it's been on my wife's car for the last year with no problems so far. Actually switching the car over to T5 as we speak. I would drive the car for a while and see how everything Acts and then check the pressures again if it seems to run fine and cool off decent I don't know that I would change anything considering he did say if you add any more fluid than what he recommends you could potentially ruin the compressor. I was really lucky to find some compressors on RockAuto a couple of months ago there was only four of them but I bought two of them for backups later on down the road. RockAuto has been getting them every once in awhile in stock so that's good news. Best of luck
