Can someone confirm my Clutch Slave is indeed dead?

Recently had the pedal to the floor problem which got progressively worse until I could not shift at all. Anyhow, searched this board (great info as usual!), ordered new master cylinder and installed it. Then came the fun part ;-) bleeding of course. I tried the tire tube/bicycle pump method that was on quasi's site. It "seemed to be working". I mean, I was getting plenty of air coming out of the slave bleed nipple, but the odd thing was that not much fluid was coming out. (I did keep the resevoir quite full). Not sure how the air was just bypassing the fluid, then I noticed a small amount of fluid dripping under car (previously there was none). So I'm now guessing that it was my slave that was messed up all along? I'm really hoping that I'm just doing something wrong. It stills seems a bit peculiar. Any suggestions? Anyone want to confirm my worst fears? (I won't hold it against you..sigh) I'm going to try the brake to slave method of pressurizing and see if that helps, but I'm not holding out hope. The sad thing is my tranny was replaced 6 mths ago, and they did NOT replace the slave (replaced all the other clutch components though). They work on many european cars but apparently not too many saabs!
