pedal supposed to be in the up position or down? When I bled it, it was in the up position (I'm really hoping this is wrong!). Last night while doing more research I came upon this link:
http://216.78.172.244/transmission_folder/909kclutchbleed.htm
and step f got me to thinking that maybe I'm just a bonehead ;-) Plus when I was bleeding it, I would occasionally check to pedal and noticed lots of bubbling when clutch was up, not much when clutch was down, but I was doing it myself so could not visually check out what was happening. I'm going to give it another go right now. Thanks for the replies. oh yeah, is it possible to open the bleed valve too much? same site above says half turn...I was opening more than that, I think.
-fingers crossed (I can't afford a slave and right now my job involves using the saab for deliveries so its a double whammy!)
