thanks again for the replies. Well, while trying to bleed it again, I noticed something a bit different. Yesterday, I thought that the fluid must have been escaping from a bad slave, but today I noticed that the fluid was leaking from the base of the bleed nipple, at the threads. So what it looks like is happening is that the air is coming up the tube and a bit of fluid as well, but the majority of fluid is leaking out from the thread area. I agree with NT that air is most likely not getting back in if its under pressure, but how am I supposed to tell when I'm getting just fluid since most of it leaking? am I screwed? I even tried the method of putting fluid INTO the bleed nipple and having the air get expelled into the resevoir, and I noticed some bubbles making it all the way up but again, most of the fluid just leaked out. I took out the bleed nipple and examined it, it seems fine, but I did notice a lot of "play" in it when its just even a quarter turn open. Should I just order another one...I'm not sure that's going to help, the only thing I know is that I can't seem to get anywhere bleeding it having tried several methods. My clutch has no pressure right now. Shit, I even started the car in gear and it just learched fwd, the same way a car lurches fwd when you start it in gear without putting your foot on the clutch.
damn, I'm getting frustrated.
