Looked at it a few years back.
No evidence of trim pots on the EDU board. I believe it takes/shares a pulse from the Trans speed transducer gadget. And it correlates to the Fuel sender. Which IMO despite it's 'interesting' float design is not any more accurate that any other car I've owned.. arguably perhaps even less accurate. Can't easily relate to Gallons/mile as mine is switched on to Km/litre.. and Imperial gallons are larger than US undersized gallons :-) It's has varied from 11 to 12 litres/100kms over the last few years, which seems Fairly consistent actually.
Doesn't really matter that much though... Does it??
Not as if one can improve the actual fuel consumption by simple mechanical adjustments.
