My point is simple and direct.... if the left rear of Bill's car is not sitting level with the left front or right front of the car, it will act as a lever and lift the front right corner. While it is true that the springs support the mass of the car, a worn or bent shock will interact with its spring and prevent it from extending to its normal height. Similarly, a wide tire that is rubbing on the spring will affect the ride height.
