Are you sure you're solving the right problem?
I lug around about 250 pounds of tools at all times in the hatch. The rear end sat low until I changed the shocks. Now normal.
I installed Bilstein HD, but go with Bilstein Touring if you want to retain the OE ride.
Cold weather probably makes your old rear shocks even worse, just as hatch struts that are fine in the summer are too weak in the winter.
