All's well, maybe always was. I just didn't know which way it should move and didn't apply my craft to make it move.
This morning after dumping the solvent I took a 3" drywall screw and used its sharp tip as a cattle prod, pushing it against the middle of the tall curved wall section and pushing that to the left, and it freely moved until stopping when a wide window was open on the right. It springs back to original position when let up.
