The saga continues....ive tried all sorts of combinations from Crutchfield and have sent most back. Cant seem to improve on the stock rear speakers sound, which really isnt too bad as Im finding out comparing along the way. I have a new "high powered" deck which really doesnt seem all that high power to me...and new 2way front speakers. Question: If I add a subwoofer in its own enclosure in the back (trunk hatchback) will it interfere with the rear stock speakers,..acoustically ? I understand that sub-bass is non directional but will it cause the rears to be "muddled" sort of speak? Im going the discount store el cheapo with as much claimed power I can afford but dont care if its not clean or top quality..just really want to see the effect..I can always return it if it really stinks. Also..can I just extent the wires from the rears to the amp and then on to the sub? with a crossover? maybe I should go to the library and read up huh...let me know if this makes sense ..thxx
