Come with me to my local salvage yard and view passenger compartments
of vehicles after they've been hit. Then, tell me which vehicles are
poorly designed and built. I'll show you plenty of Hondas that have
literally split in two from poor attention to build quality and design.
Missing welds to structural components is not that uncommon. The so-
called 'quality' that seems to be synonymous with Hondas, et al, is,
in my eyes, nothing but well-oiled hype. Ya, Saabs do require maintenance
and repair, but for anyone who is the least bit mechanically inclined,
their design makes this work easy, and for some, actually enjoyable.
