Tires: stick with the 205/50-16..the other sizes look ridiculous and some may rub fender wells and suspension parts. 50/50 chance with the bars leak but it sounds like its too late if its a visible leak. If you do have the core redone make sure they or you lubricate the control arm for the flap that blends hot/cold air into the cabin. Motor mounts: if the engine has really been moving around a lot ..the flex pipe on the exhaust may have taken some extra abuse...have a look at that..not really a preventative fix but just a thought. Alarm: of course check the fuse..but it sounds like it has to be reset..refer to the manual for reset procedures..it involves turning and holding the key in the lock 3 times to the left if I recall correctly. Exhaust: there are several options but from what ive read on this board...they are highly dependent on your idea of what "loud or TOO loud means. Some have done away with the center muff and had a custom bent piece installed by a Meineke/Midas shop. Stainless aftermarket systems are very expensive...but available...when mine goes ill probably go with Saab OEM ..only because ive yet to HEAR a 9000 with an aftermarket system to evaluate myself. Dash lights: the clock unit pops right out of the dash easily..use a very thin knife blade or something similar..and the top of the dash comes off without too much trouble..so if your handy you can investigate the problem that way...the dealer sounds like hes just going in and cleaning house replacing everything in his grubby hands path. welcome.
