I don't know what reference checking you did, but there is now way a Ford Mustang O2 sensor is matched for the SAAB 4cylinder engine. Merely because it fits doesn't mean it's right for your car. Even a second hand unit from a wrecking yard would work better. I'll bet your car problems dissappear when you install the correct sensor. My $0.02 worth!
