I have to change the slave cylinder on my '78... I have a very narrow window of time to do it in too. I do not have a garage, or an assistant. Here is my question: can I get away with leaving the hood on, undoing all of the bolts for the front sheet (Radiator support), and prop the radiator up enough to pull the input shaft out? I am trying to think of the fastest way to go about it, and I am pretty sure eliminating draining and pulling the radiator is going to save me some major time. My slave is dead, and I will have a Saab clutch compression tool on loan, so I should be able to pop the retaining wire in, undo the slave, swap the new in, and get to putting everything else back. Anybody ever try something this stupid? Thoughts on time saving? Thanks guys, I am shooting for wednesday morning, and the sooner I can get it done the better.
