because I've read articles and comparisons, where the Alero finished first and where the Aurora, finished in the middle. Have you driven an Alero or Intrigue or Aurora? If so, was it a base rental model or a decently equiped car? GM is not a world class leader...save for their trucks and large SUVs, but can you admit that their products are getting better? I definitely thing GM is on the up. Except for the Corvette, GM doesn't have any car that really knocks my socks off as far as looks are concerned, I mean I like some of the cars looks, but none really inspire me. Yes, that is a shame, but neither does BMW, Audi (except for the TT), or Honda or Toyota. They are just as bland as GM styling (of course there are one or two exceptions). GM needs to hire or steal a few stylists/designers from Chrysler.

PS -- When's the last time you saw SAAB when a comparison in a car magazine...does that make SAAB a bad car? Hardly. Come to think of it, when's the last time you saw an American car win a comparo?
