You just keep on trashing GM & Saab when you don't have a clue what they are going to do in the future. According to numerous magazines (as well as the SOC) GM is letting SAAB do what they want with their cars & make them more unique & not towards the mainstream. Yes, they will share lots of GM parts (US & EUROPEAN) simply because they must. It took over 100 hrs to make a C900 while only 40 hrs for a 9-3.

To say that you cringe when you see a GM vehicle is kind of funny. I do agree that some aren't of the best quality but for me, I feel that way every time I see someone in a Camry, Maxima, Accord & lots of others. To me, those are the shitty cars on the road. YEs, they are reliable but there is more to cars then that. They are simply death traps where people's only concern is that it's reliable.

Have fun in you new Volvo whenever you get it & be sure to visit the Lincoln dealership where their car's don't seem to be winning any comparos. Not that I give a shit about comparo's, if I did, I wouldn't be driving my 87 SPG :o)

Saab has a very promising future with the 5 new models they will produce.

If you don't like the 9-3 you have, it's your own fault for purchasing it. It's built off of a chassis which dates back to 88 & of coarse it won't win the comparisons, but that doesn't make it bad. COnsidering the lack of monet saab had with the NG900/9-3/9-5, they did a awesome job.

I personally look forward to the future of SAAB even with it's 100% ownership.
