I had a 1995 900S standard for over 80,000 miles. The cable cltch is a problem on these cars up through 1997. 1998 900 and all 9-3's have hydraulic actuation. With the cable, the auto adjust mech craps out which leads to very heavy clutch. The solution often is a completely new clutch assy which results in incredubly light action-I know, I had 3 clutches. But the heaviness returns soon enough. The silly mech goes in and out of adjustment so I would go for a 1998 or later if you can find one.
