I paid more attention to what is going on yesterday. The problem is most noticeable when shifting from 4th to 5th gear. If I am just above 2000 RPMs in 4th gear, the car sounds and "feels" like I should shift up into 5th (just as it felt in my 9-3 base car) AND, the "shift up" light is typically on at this point. However, with the SE, as soon as I shift into 5th, and the RPMS (naturally) drop below 2000, the car feels like it is laboring and I get the vibration. It's not a big deal to stay in 4th, but it is odd that the car seems to want to be upshifted, and then immediately can't handle it. I wonder if there is something different in the gearing of 4th and 5th in the SE versus the base car, as you suggested.
