Chuck,
Was the #55 wire on your ECU yellow with blue stripe, as Bruce had said in his post? Also, What year is your car?
I took a look at the ECU wiring harness in my 2000 9-3, and the wire at pin #55 was blue with a red stripe. At first the numbering seemed unclear whether the numbers were referring to the wires to the left or the right of the imprinted numbers, but I triple checked that this is in fact the #55. And neither of the wires on either side of this one are yellow with blue stripe.
Any further info regarding your wire identification procedure would be appreciated, as I definitely do not want to cut the wrong wire.
Thanks,
SteveH
