Hardy har har har......
This is actually a thorough, dust-free way to do the mats but the snow needs to be of a certain crystalline quality and isn't always available. My mats were treated with 3M's Scotchguard before they took it off the market. They found it got in your body and stayed there for a decade or more.
I see PM Chretien is talking about a North American water system to match Bush's North American energy system but I doubt we could count on refrigerated pipelines to get your raw materials to DC.
You're right about the minimum wage types. If they had any pride, they wouldn't be doing mats for someone else's car. They'd be doing their own on free time they earned. If I sound uncharitable, it's because my expectations of the service sector are low. It's a learned reaction.
You get what you pay for. Depending on where you are, there are niche services, for which you pay more, who are willing to turn out quality services. Here, we have one called "Love Your Car". It looks like a chain to me as it carries a line of branded cleaning and wax/surface maintenance products as well as various gew-gaws, mostly for SUVs.
Cheers; John A.
