Congrats on you new car Kenneth, I just picked up my base 9-3 6 weeks ago. Thus far, I've been very happy. Eventhough it's the base model, my car rocks. Would've considered a rag top, but didn't like the poor visibility, and I'm in Jersey, so not as useful as in Fl. Here are some replies to your questions.
---------
3. How do you remove the rear headrests? I can't seem to find the release that is mentioned in the manual. It'd be nice to take them off as they partially block the view
A. I had the dealer take it off for me, I store it in the trunk. They conviently fit under the trunk spare tire cover.
5. The other day (it was hot out) Everytime I turned the key to power up the car the horn started honking and wouldn't stop. Finally, after beating on it a little it ceased. Anyone else experienced this? What do you think it is?
A. I had the same thing happening to me last week. It seems to have to do w/ the heat. I posted this last week, search for the subject 'honk bonked' and read other's comments.
6. Why does Saab warn against using home made CDs? Isn't this a bit ridiculous?
A. I agree it seems like a bogus warning, i've used a burned cd one time, and didn't seem to have a problem.

have fun w/ the car:)
