You are making connections using the hoses on the factory BPC solenoid (the black plastic cylinder-looking thing at top left).

First, find the hose that runs to the wastegate actuator (metal cylinder with a rod coming out the right side of it, above the turbo). Disconnect the hose at the wastegate actuator. Connect the Dawes MBC to the wastegate actuator using the hose supplied with the Dawes kit. You may need to shorten your hose a bit; shorter lengths are preferred.

Now, unplug the hose furthest right at the BPC (this is the one visible on the picture). It runs to the compressor pressure tap. Connect this hose to the other end of the Dawes.

Finally, take the hose you removed from the wastegate actuator and attach it to the BPC hose barb that you just removed the turbo pressure hose from. This plugs up both unused hose barbs on the BPC, preventing junk from getting in there. It's an expensive part, believe me, so there's no reason to take chances with it. The BPC is now isolated but still connected electrically.

Zip tie the Dawes to a convienient location (you need to be able to adjust it in a minute, so don't tuck it away).

Now all that's left is to tune the controller. This means road test. Initally, your boost gauge should read no higher than just past halfway through the yellow section. This is normal. Now, get out of the car, adjust the knob a small amount, get back in, and test under wide open throttle. You'll have to keep doing this over and over until you feel fuel cut (an unpleasant jerking). At this point, turn the wheel back about a quarter of a turn and lock it down. Test to be sure no fuel cut persists.

If you want to restore factory boost control, just disconnect the Dawes and re-connect the hoses. The BPC is marked with letters to indicate which hose goes where. "C" stands for turbo compressor and "W" stands for wastegate actuator.

Please do post your experience with the controller as there are many here who would like to see the results on a 2001 Auto. The data availible is very sparse as yet.
