Used the Saab Roadside Assistance for the first time today. Was driving my '99 9-3 SE on a back road today, noticed the car was pulling a bit and decided to pull over and check it out....FLAT TIRE!!!

Since I'm not one of these "do it all" type women, I called and asked them to change the tire. First, they tell me that the closest contracted company they have to help me is 30 miles away, than they tell me that they will sub-contract out the change but I will have to pay for it and send the receipt in to Saab Roadside Assistance and they will send me a check.

No problem...except that it took the guy 1 1/2 hours to get there...not very pleasant in 90 degree heat and humidity! I did turn the A.C. on a few times, but didn't think it would have been good for the car for the entire time.

Other than the long wait time...the people on the other end, I think they said they were in Michigan, were friendly, courteous, and helpful.
