Thanks for that. I am very tempted to take it back (and mention the rear door TSB as well! Thanks for pointing out the TSB's to me) but to be honest I think that they have fixed it. Looks like they have just not aligned it perfectly when they re-did it and that is why it doesn't sit properly.
When I broke it (actually it was the Mrs!) it would not work at all (knob would turn, but not do anything) but now they have done the full fix it does work and distributes the air OK. However the dial will not quite make the upright position. Am I being petty?
Also - the knob has always been stiff and felt like I was forcing it and it still does feel a little bit stiff now I have had the full fix. A question for anyone who has had the heater box done - does this free up the knob completely? Or does it always feel a little stiff?
