After all is said and done, I recall having the ability to turn the front driving wheels get me out of snow and ice when just letting her sit and spin with no steering wheel changes didn't . Of course the rear wheels don't have this ability. My feeling is that this is a big plus for the front wheel drive car. I don't know how to quantitate it.
OK now shoot that one down.
