Giday,
I also recently had my clutch cable replaced on my 96 900v6 5 speed and I'm experiencing a crunching feel/sound from inside the firewall every so often (2 to 3 times and hour) when I depress the clutch.
Is there any mechanism that would make this happen at the clutch pedal when it was serviced? I never experienced it prior to the change.
I'm concerned that something was loosened at the timke of cable replacement, and it might collapse whilst driving.
Any advice?
chers
Jason
