Nick will tell you what you need with his ECU. It will be tuned with a specific FPR in mind.
Anyway, one last check: I think the connection between the brake booster and the intake manifold is a semi-rigid tube that is stuck in a retaining grommet in the manifold with an o-ring seal. I had that hose pop completely out, and the car would not idle, but with enough throttle it would run. Albeit with no brake assist.
