> In your March 1st post you thought that bronze bushing inside seal looked OK, but maybe it's allowing TQ hub to move around causing seal leakage.
That's ultimately on the table, but it's unlikely that two transmissions would be worn/failed in the same way causing the same leak. *Possible*, but I don't think likely.
I have replacement bushings - picked them up with my seal selection - but I don't have a puller. Nobody here will work on these transmissions, so I guess it's up to me to find a puller and do the work. :(
I also picked up a torque converter hub repair sleeve. I could not detect any actual wear on the hub - it's polished, but no tool I have is displaying any wear.

I checked for walk (see Bernie's post below) and it appears within spec - my dial indicator isn't the greatest, but I generally trust it. ;)
I read about the clogged ATF cooler issues - unfortunately the original radiator in this car was damaged (broken plastic around coolant inlet) and I replaced it with new... so if it was clogged (and I don't think it was) it isn't now.
If this seal leaks as well I have some fallback options - hub sleeve, replace hub bushing, different seal, even new engine - but I am *really* hoping it doesn't get there.
Really appreciate the thoughts and the AWTEC information... I do wish I'd known that earlier, as for that price it's a way better option than junkyard boxes, no matter how reliable they tend to be.
