The Viggen rescue kit consists of the urethane bushings, steering rack clamp and brace, lower control arm rear bearings, and a frame brace that goes across the bottom of the engine, frame to frame.
The rear bearings are steel spherical bearings, which replace the squishy rubber ones. This helps maitain steering geometry during hard acceleration and braking. The urethane bushings replace the hydraulic rubber ones. They are hollow and oil filled. So no surprize that they move.
When the front end of the suspension moves up or down, the toe in geometry changes. This is called bump steer. This can cause part of the 'torque steer' that you feel, when accelerating or braking. Stiffer springs and shocks will reduce this 'bump steer'.
My steering had become a bit rubbery, so we shall see what the result is.
