Dean, I'd be really curious to hear what your results are. My steering has gotten really "pliable" lately. Replacing the struts helped a bit, but either they've loosened up, or I've just gotten used to it. The steering is still tight, ie. when I turn the wheel, the car responds quickly. However, I have to apply what I think is an inordinate amount of correction to counter even mild road crown, and every little bump is the road tries to rip the wheel out of my hands.
I'm also rather frustrated with the overall ride quality. I had the Konis set full soft, but tightened them up one turn to counter the bobbing over road undulations at freeway speeds. The car is fine (well, still a little softer then I'd like) at high speed, but is thrown every which way in town by bumps and things like manhole covers. There is lots of "head toss" and lots of body motion in general. When I'm in a bad mood already, the car is downright unpleasant to drive. I'm mostly venting, but thoughts?
thanks, Mike
