Here's my routine fro my wife's 1995 900S( I keep all cars for a minimum of 275,000, and have been doing that for more than 30 years): Oil/Filter change every 3,000 using Mobil 1 synthetic and Mann Filter; Air Filter Change(Mann) every 10,000 miles; Gear box change every 25,000 miles using Redline MTL; Power Steering flush and change using Valvoline semi-synthetic every 25,000 miles; Cooling flush and change using Mercedes Coolant, every 24 months; Tire rotation every 10,000 miles; spark plugs every 25,000 miles; serpentine belt/pulleys every 50,000 miles. This is all very cheap insurance to ensure your car goes to the max # of miles. When paying $30k for a depreciating asset it needs to last. If you are interested I have a record of every service performed on the Saab, I do most myself, most require very little mechanical apptitude. This car has only 52,000 miles on it and is 7 years old, so it doesn't get much of a work out, that said I anticipate this car lasting until, ah, ah, ah...2032, I'll be worm food at that point so it won't matter.
