One instructor in particular took it upon himself to show me all the difficult intersections he could think of. He wouldn't warn me about the ones that were just technically difficult, then afterwards he would explain how you could manage to turn into the nearest lane in that particular situation. Then we had the drive-o-trainer, where we met up with deadly situations but walked out alive. I took that one very seriously. Then we saw the film of car passengers that had been hit by trains.
Upon finishing the course, I didn't think I had learned all I needed, and I continue to work on my skills at age 44.
