When coming to a stop, putting it in gear MAY be better. It depends on how far in advance you know you're going to be stopping. Personally I prefer the coasting to a stop method, for several reasons:
-smoother on the passengers
-easier
-less wear on the clutch components
In slippery conditions, I would probably leave it in gear.
