Would second the ideas OKSaabs has put forth. Having recently finished residency and being heavily involved in the residency admissions (and to a lessor degree med school admission) I would say pick a place your daughter will enjoy shining at and the rest will take care of itself. I received my B.A. in American Studies and all of the pre-med stuff was electives. I attended an out-of-state private med school and was an out-of-state resident for residency.
