I've had a bunch of things done 2 or 3 times. Saab pays everytime. Then I have a bunch of other things Saab doesn't pay for. I recently had a rep and engineer look at my car and they covered things half a dozen dealers have denied and denied things multiple dealers have covered. Even the rep and the engineer didn't know exactly what is excluded under the warranties. All they could say is you have an X year old car with Y miles so the item is excluded. It was just that arbitrary as opposed to say A item is excluded under exclusion Z or not covered because of so and so reason. They didn't care if a part was not on an excluded list. I think that the dealers should be required to put some sort of exclusion code in the service record. The current system is fraud and seems to be stacked against consumers. In most cases, it must be fraud because if a denied item is later covered it was inherently fraud when initially denied. I realize that the dealers are denying coverage under economic pressure from Saab, but it is still totally unacceptable as they should fight for their customers' rights who buy cars from them.
