I must just chime in for Saab that I've had great experiences with my CPO 2000 9-3 and my CPO 2006 9-5 SC at dealers in Boston and Phoenix. Both have treated me extremely well and covered plenty of things under warranty. Once I was two weeks out of warranty on my 9-3, I called Saab USA to let them know that I needed new front struts just 2 weeks out, and you know what, with being kind and reasonable on the phone, they agreed to cover the repair, when I called I wasn't a jerk and was nice as possible. You can see my post from a few days ago, the dealer charged me for shims for the rear camber correction issue on the 9-5, however I called Saab USA and told them what was going on and was not a jerk on the phone, and they ended up covering it.
Just my experience. I think the CPO is a great option and from my experience Saab/GM has stood behind it.
