I wonder about that. I checked the tru mkt valu on my three cars and they've taken a huge hit in the past 30 days (checked it last month too) even though we haven't added a bunch of miles, especially my'06 9-3 SC with 25K miles on the clock. I blame the lower values for nice used cars on the Feds since they're subsidizing new car purchases.
I'm down $300 on a '01 9-3SE w/ 160K miles, $650 on a '04 Mazda6 wagon w/ 89K miles, and about $1300 on my '06 9-3 SC w/ 25K miles. I'm gonna dig into it a bit more but I think Cash for Crap has hit my vehicle 'equity' to the tune of $2250.
