I hear what you're saying, but if the choices are pollutants in the air, nukes in our cities, or spoiled views and extra dust, I will take the latter every day of the week. There is no free energy lunch, so when it comes down to choices between things that look ugly or things that will actively kill me, I don't find there is much choice. Don't get me wrong, I am a proponent of nuclear energy, but even still solar and wind are a much better option in my eyes given the production ability is there. Yeah so maybe we use up some of our energy running the vacuum a little more, but it's better than digging out underground shelters in case of earthquake or buying respirators off Amazon for those days when all the shit we put into the air starts to rain back down.
