I agree, even Volvo are admitting they have quality problems. The kicker is, I recently took a quality service survey from Volvo North America regarding our '98 S70, and when I gave the guy a hard time about the cars litany of problems, he mumbled, 'well, our merger with Ford might have something do with those problems'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bet Henrys' people would just love to hear that! Apart from that, the car was designed and built before Volvo were acquired by Ford, not merged as he put it! The junk coming out of Goteborg these days is nothing like the quality of 700 and 900 series V's. Maybe one day they will make cars that can drive and run well....
