Hej Vihtori!
Var så god and hope that everything goes well. In Finland Customs can give you really hard time when you are importing cars as private person. I don't know about Norwegian Customs but I can imagine that they might to do the same thing as Scandinavian country to project terrible high and unfair car taxation. So please be sure that all papers are perfectly in order. You probably already know this but at least following items were required in Finland:
- To provide that you stayed permamently abroad. This can be done with flight tickets or pass port stamps.
- To provide local insurance certiface that car was driven and used certain time period which is required in Finland.
- To provide receipt of your car i.e. purchase date, price etc.
Hope that you don't have to pay any additional car taxes in Norway. Luckily I did't have to pay anything and your transportation cost seems very reasonable.
Take Care,
Tomi
ps. Where does Vihtori come from? It is a Finnish name :)
