I'm not sure I understand what it is you're trying to say.

For example: What have tobacco smoking and bombs got to do with climate change? For that matter, what has ozone got to do with climate change? Who said anything about G Bush and ozone? What 'region' are you talking about? Olympic China? Come on. You can say it if that's who you mean. We'll understand.

OK: Let's just go with your reasoning (if I get your drift.) Forgive me if I have taken your line of reasoning a bit too far. I only write this to make a point.

We should just do away with the UN and the US can walk away from the UN Treaty the US signed in 1992 called the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), right?

Never mind Kyoto. It's a dead duck .....but the deal that went before Kyoto (UNFCCC) should be done away with too as the US has no intention of doing anything but studying climate change, right? Throw a little study money at it is all. Make it look good. Get US climate change science up with Japan's, Germany's, and the UK's so at least US scientists are not constantly embarrased that they don't have good data and powerful enough computers to run it through. Buy some time.

In doing so, the US can further cut foreign aid to destitute regions of the world. It's been going down for years anyway and the churches can take care of the poor and the sick; the huddled masses. After all, what are churches for anyway?

You can shut down IATA (world aircraft regulation, which is UN - big waste of cash. Americans don't want to fly by any stupid socialist UN rules. Americans are so powerful, you can make 'em up as you go along.

Take the UN Security Council - please. Dumb place anyway. Can't even get a new set of sanctions against Iraq up. Who cares about a half million starving Iraqi kids anyway?

UNICEF can go, the World Health Organization, FAO, and UNDAC can go.

UNDAC rates the US the 6th best place in the world in which to lives after

1. Norway

2. Australia

3. Canada

4. Sweden and

5. Belgium.

Who needs bad PR like that, eh?. 6th is as good as the US can do? You have to know the US is #1. Always has been. Always will be. Scrap UNDAC.

Let's just shut down the UN court that is trying Slobodan Milosevic while we're at it. Another UN waste of US taxpayers' money. Let's boot the International Law of the Sea too. And forget the UN AIDS program for Africa. Ted Turner can take care of AIDS all by himself.
AIDS will never become a problem for the US if the ports are policed well enough and there is still international trade.

What business had the rest of the world voting the US off the UN High Commission of Refugees? The US is built on refugees. Scrap the UNHCR too! Bunch of losers.

Bunch of high-salary, thick-glasses, foreign know-nothings with dummied up socialist science is all the UN is. A big waste of taxpayers' money and Jesse Helms knew it. This is why the US is still holding hundreds of millions in dues and assessments and peacekeeping money.

That reminds me. Another place the US doesn't want to go is UN-based peacekeeping. NATO is OK but the US doesn't want to "do windows" with the UN. NATO didn't need the UN for Serbia, so why have a UN at all? One too many UN Somalias. Canadians and Norwegians can do it; Russians and Brits too but not us Americans. We don't do windows.

And that great UN real estate in NYC can be a great site for a new refinery or a nuke plant.
