Hey guys,
Let me first say that I'm a certified Saab Nut, but I have those days that I would love to get rid of "Inga". My 87 900s (190,000 miles) has been a joy so far. Yes I've been left stranded twice, I would like to think that it was my own fault. The first time on a road trip I ignored a battery warning light thinking my terminals needed cleaning well the alternator needed work and let me know this by shutting down about 150 miles from home. The second time the cap and rotor went south and decided to let me know by shutting down and not restarting. I try to keep Inga as well maintained as I can, I've done some performance mods, but can't help feeling that maybe I should walk away and get something else. I know that she's old but again I can't help thinking that at age 24 I should get something a little hotter like a Mitsu eclipse or something along those lines. What's your inspiration to keep your saabs? How many of you use them as your daily driver?
Michael
