The following is an exchange between me and autoextermist.com. See their Aug. 15 edition for background...
Hello Josh, SAAB is trying to find their "reason for being" in a segment that's glutted with many, many entries. And GM has proved time and time again that they are incapable of bringing anything to the party when they try to market imports. It's a bad combination. SAAB wants to re-invent itself and gain a more solid footing in the mainstream, but we believe they're fighting a seriously uphill battle in the U.S. market. the competition is just too tough.
