I took my own ng900 with the same tires, full roll cage, 2400lbs and it could not corner like the 9k, no doubt the 9k is a better road race platform, everytime I get in my 9k, I smile and say to myself, this is the one, nothing seems as fast and with some suspension work, it corners like you would not believe and the only way you could really understand this is to take a ride or drive one yourself. Gary Wolf had a full on Viggen prepped and his 9k that he always kicks but at Lewistown and we often talk about how amazing it is that the 9k does so well and how you can put on all kinds of suspension and bracing on the ng900 or og93 and they still do not handle as well as a 9k with just some sas sway bars, shocks and springs.
Gary just did a write up on the link saab site and he was once again the fastest car at the track and that was full of Porsche's and many other fast cars, he is of course a very good driver. The 4.45 gearing and power of the 9k works very well with its wider stance and its the car that seems to be the best for road racing. The new 93 has a very stiff chassie and can be made fast too.
