I am looking at getting a aftermarket IC made to about the dimensions of a 9K IC. I just don't understand what Corky is trying to ask me. Here is a copy of part of his email to me & any help is greatly appreciated.
I plan on doing a setup like what Todd C had in his 900s at the SOC, just with a aftermarket IC.

An intercooler must be judged by the loss of boost pressure at max flow
conditions. This is directly related to 2 things; internal flow area and the
turbulators, if any, inside the air tubes. You need to estimate the flow
area by the size of each tube X the number of tubes. With turbulators, about
6 square inches will be required per 100 bhp. Or, you'd need 18. Without
turbs, 3 per 100 bhp will do. I suspect the skinny 1.0 inch tube won't have
any turbs, in which case it would be okay. You must make certain about this,
otherwise that IC is only good for 150 bhp.
