The primary factors determining top speed are aerodynamic drag, and horsepower (or if you want to simplify further, ratio of power vs drag).

Weight will certainly affect your acceleration, and thus it may take a little longer for you to reach top speed, but similar speeds should be attained whether it's just the driver, or driver and three passengers.

A car mag (sorry, forget which one, and I don't think I have it anymore!) did an article way back in 1993, think it was title something like Bang for the Buck. The majority of cars were two door coupes, Lasers, Eclipses, Mustang, Prelude, Corrado, etc... Included was a 9000T (non-Aero) If I recall correctly, it was the only four door, and trounced 2/3 of the field in top speed, by a rather significant margin. Anyhoo, I just thought that was awesome, that is the article which mentioned that weight has little impact on top speed. Though it was a far from thorough review of any of the cars, the writers especially liked the Saab, because as it was roomy and very fast.

I bet you could see 150 indicated pretty easy in the 9^5 Aero. I've seen the last tick on my '87 9000T (145mph), and I've got 30% less HP than you! I believe the 9^5 is slipperier than the 9000, in terms of the Coefficient of drag, but I'm not sure by how much..
