Like a previous post said, and as I have pointed out numerous times on this BB, the T7 management system will adapt boost, ignition etc. to the atmospheric conditions (incl. altitude) as well as fuel octane.

But it is probably way too much to expect a car to perform as well under your very extreme conditions as it will at sea level. I know Saab did experience problems with Viggens (99's with 225hp) not reaching their governed top speed even in a decline.

But with the new (00') ECU I have heard of no such problems.

What I suggest is:
1) Get a performance exhaust (3" from turbo). Your car cannot breathe properly and your EGT is probably through the roof.
2) Get an octane booster to get some serious octane levels.
3) Be happy with your Viggen...

Also, are you sure you mean 4 miles as in 6,400 metres? Are you in the Himalayas? Didn't know they had autopistas there...
