A stock 9-5 Aero will dyno between 210-225 hp at the wheels in over boost. Higher mileage explains the spread(read: break-in). I will dyno the Nordic III soon. Acutally have the T7 ECU replaced in the III-sedan and the thing is a dog without. It still has the 3" down tube and cat/2.5" Feritta cat-back exhaust. I will dyno without the ECU program and the everything else in the Nordic III next week(my dyno guy took his unit to Daytona for a big Miata event). Rolf has no problem in recieving and reprogramming but it is just an inconvience on my part...maybe not. I get a chance to dyno with a full exhaust and FPR.
The 9-5 Aero-III has the same part throttle response but has a nice full throttle grunt that sets you back in the seat and really separates it from my stock Aero wagon. The wagon goes up for winter and I really don't see anything that will give the biggest bang for the buck in accleration as Nordic III. Sure you can follow what the Audi "has" to do when getting more power like up gradeing the turbo and IC = $,$$$$. I am pleased with the performance and the effiency of Nordic III. Not much here in the states will match it on the highway(90+ MPH).
The 400hp M5 is 4,000 lbs. and handles it weight quite well. My III is looking for one of these and an Corvette C5 to close the book on Nordic III vs. others. M5's are putting about 330 hp to the wheels.
